Day 7

Yesterday I had to work! All freaking day, and it was a Saturday :(

So with 4 hours of sleep on me, I just managed to drag myself out of bed and get to work... I didn't exercise in the morning, I'm not even sure I remembered to brush my hair for that matter.

Anyway, got home at 6pm and I was sooooo exhausted from a really long week, and I just thought: damn I need a nap!

And so it was, nap time! Till 11pm :x :x :x

I woke up at that time still feeling lazy as hell... Checked my email and the internets, started to gain courage do go and exercise. But time wasn't on my side; I live in a large apartment building.
I imagined myself doing my jumping jacks and my neighbours downstairs running for cover thinking it was (another) earthquake. I thought of going outside for a run, but it was almost midnight. Anyway, I kept on procrastinating and avoiding what must be done!

I was actually hating myself by this point, thinking about how lazy I was and how I MUST exercise everyday. Anyway, I was really in the mood for some cardio, but silent cardio... Not going to happen without a machine. So I just did some yoga and pilates, not really cardio but it was almost an hour of some sort of exercise.

Ah well, I did fell terrible about it, but this morning I got up and went straight to my shred :)
I know loads of people say you should exercise on an empty stomach, as it burns more fat... But when I do this, like today, I feel like I am so energy lacking and just slow!

Day 4

Well, the good news is: The soreness has been diminishing over the last few days and now it's barely noticeable.

The GREAT news is: For some reason, which is completely beyond me, the soreness did not affect my exercise AT ALL. It was the weirdest thing... As if during exercise there were no sore muscles... I found this baffling, but I'm not complaining.

The the games begin!

Today I'm starting my new lifestyle: daily exercise and a balanced low calorie diet.

The goal: to be healthier, more agile and HOT.

While I had counted on using the p90x exercise videos, after 15 minutes of trying to do the first video, I was confronted with the obvious fact that I am soooooo not up to this challenge: it's very demanding and I simply don't have the physical ability needed. Not yet anyway.

So I changed my exercise routine to the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels, and so, finally, the games can begin!
